Dosimeter Radex 1503+ (Radex, Russia)

RD1503+ Indicator. The same as the basic RADEX RD1503 Model, this instrument is meant for consumers having knowledge as regards dosimetry in everyday life but willing (or forced) to use dosimeters.

The same as in the basic model, low-voltage Geiger – Mueller Counter for penetrating beta- and gamma-radiation of SBM20–1 type applied in professional dosimetric devices is used in RD1503+.

Additional functions were supplemented in application of radioactivity indicators. This is BACKGROUND mode for examination of buildings; there is step-by-step change of signaling threshold with discreteness over 30 – 60 – 120 mcR/ hour; availability of vibrosignalling as additional signaling device; accurate retroaction upon button pressing. All these desires were summarized and implemented in РД1503+ Model.

Customer can at his/ her own disposal choose one of nine signaling operation thresholds in РД1503+ Model. This is 10 – 20 – 30 – 40 – 50 – 60 – 70 – 80 – 90 mcR/ hour. For the Customer’s warning in case of threshold overcoming audio and vibration signal modes can be chosen or both modes can be used simultaneously.

For the Customer’s convenience function of button pressing animation is realized in RD1503+ Model. If the instrument functions properly, the activated button being pressed causes pictogram blinking on the display, and pictograms of inactivated buttons have specific typeface.

In RADEX RD1503+ the feature approved by Customers is preserved: it has a conventional casing with a large liquid crystal display and three buttons as well as great number of individual settings (measuring unit choice, setting of various threshold values for signaling response, indication of battery discharge and display highlight).
